The World Health Organization in its definition pays a great attention to prophylaxis, that is preventing diseases. If we aim at staying healthy, a way to achieve it does not only consist in going to a doctor when we are already ill, in order to fight the disease, but focusing in earlier strengthening health by appropriate lifestyle - appropriate diet, physical effort, dealing with emotions and avoiding stress.
The great influence of our lifestyle on our health is confirmed by Lalonde’s Health Fields. Even in 1973 he stressed that lifestyle is the main determinant. It influences our life in approximately 60%. Therefore, it has advantage over genetic (5%), environmental (5%), social factors (20%) or the healthcare (10%).

Our authority among portals promoting healthy lifestyle was strengthened by a recommendation of Polskie Stowarzyszenie Dietetyki (Polish Dietetics Association).
Since May 2011 the organization conducts educational and promotional activity in the scope of promotion of a healthy lifestyle. The main undertaking is spreading knowledge concerning application of appropriate diet among children and adults.
