Protein in main role
The human body is made up of 65% water, 20% protein, 10% fat and 1% carbohydrates constitute 4-5% minerals.
Protein composed of amino acids, are the most important structural components of living organisms. These components are of particular importance due to their functions. Eg:
1.They build and rebuild consuming tissue (eg hair loss or exfoliating the skin)
2.They are an essential component of the blood, lymph, hormones, enzymes or lymph
3.There are a carrier of vitamins and minerals
4.Maintain the proper pH of the digestive tract contents and body fluids
The nutritional value of proteins determines the content of essential amino acids in proteins and their relative proportions.
